Chris Kowalczyk

Chris founded the Garden State Golf Academy with one goal in mind: To grow the game of golf and instill a lifelong love for the game in as many people as possible. His mission to grow the game of golf has expanded to more than just mechanical instruction. Chris believes in being a complete athlete and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the mind and physical fitness. He has incorporated this philosophy into his teaching and the academy alike.

With a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Chris was also a member of their Division 1 golf team for 4 years, as well as team captain and MVP. At Wayne Hills High School, Chris was a 4 year varsity letter winner in golf and played his way onto the All-County and All-State golf teams. He is currently involved in playing professionally in New Jersey State Golf Association and Metropolitan Golf Association events and in 2009, he finished in the top 30 Assistant Golf Professionals in the New Jersey Section. Chris has been teaching the game of golf to men, women, and children of all ages for over 10 years now and is devoted to the improvement of each and every one of his students.
